Tips for baking with Formula 1
Formula 1 behaves differently to standard flour in baking. It does not provide structure on its own — you need eggs or a binding agent. Use it to replace some of the sugar or flavouring in a recipe, not all of the dry ingredients.
PDM is unflavoured and mixes into almost any recipe without changing the taste. It is the more versatile baking ingredient of the two. Start with 1 scoop per recipe and adjust based on texture.
Recipes using Formula 1 will be slightly denser than standard baked goods. This is normal. The trade-off is significantly higher protein and lower sugar per serving.
