Why Overnight Oats?

Oats are one of the most nutritionally balanced foods available — high in beta-glucan fibre (linked to heart health and lower cholesterol), protein, iron, magnesium and manganese. But plain porridge can be bland. Overnight oats solve that by letting you layer in flavour and nutrition the night before, so breakfast is ready when you are.

Method

    Finely chop the pear and add to a bowl with the Oat Apple Fibre and 2 tablespoons of cold water. Stir together until well combined and set aside to allow the mixture to thicken while you prepare the oats.

    In a mason jar or small bowl, mix the rolled oats, Formula 1 Shake Mix and Vanilla Protein Drink Mix together with a fork. Gradually add the remaining 175ml of water and keep stirring until well blended.

    Spoon the pear mixture on top of the oats. Seal the jar with the lid or cover with cling film and place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or ideally overnight.

    In the morning, grab your oats from the fridge and enjoy. No cooking, no fuss.
