Ingredients

  • 28g (1 serving) Herbalife Protein Drink Mix
  • 12g (2 servings) Herbalife Formula 3 Personalised Protein Powder
  • 25g quinoa (red or white)
  • 25g linseed (flaxseed)
  • 250g rolled oats
  • 50g desiccated coconut
  • 175g coconut oil
  • 135ml agave syrup
  • 100g dates, chopped

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C Fan). Line a 20cm square tin with parchment paper.
  2. Cook the quinoa in a dry frying pan over medium heat, tossing regularly, for a few minutes until a couple of shades darker and toasted. Tip out and set aside to cool.
  3. Use a blender to grind the linseed into a powder.
  4. Mix together the oats, toasted quinoa, milled linseed, desiccated coconut, Formula 3 Personalised Protein Powder and Protein Drink Mix.
  5. Heat the coconut oil in a saucepan over medium to high heat until melted. Add the agave syrup, then stir in the chopped dates.
  6. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until evenly combined.
  7. Press the mixture firmly into the prepared tin and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden.
  8. Allow to cool in the tin, then remove (still in the paper) and cut into 16 squares. Place on a rack to finish cooling.
