Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp water
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 48g Herbalife Protein Bake Mix
  • 40g plain flour, plus extra for dusting
  • 8 sprays of reduced fat olive oil spray

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer if your model requires it. In a jug, whisk together the egg, water and vanilla essence.
  2. Place the Protein Bake Mix and flour in a large mixing bowl. Mix in the egg mixture until completely integrated.
  3. Dust a clean surface with flour and tip the dough onto it. Dust the dough and roll to about 2cm thick with a floured rolling pin. Cut three large circles with the 7cm cutter, then cut a small hole in the centre of each with the 3cm cutter to make donut shapes.
  4. Gather the offcuts and small holes, roll into a 7cm circle, neaten with the cutter and cut the middle out to make a fourth donut.
  5. Spray each donut once on each side with olive oil spray. Transfer to the air fryer basket, spacing them about 2cm apart.
  6. Cook at 175°C for 5 minutes until golden and risen. Allow to cool before eating.
